DIRTY FACES by Helena🥮

 😋DIRTY FACES😋
Dirty faces are a typical Argentine sweet ideal for breakfast or snack.
Originally they had a circular shape and resembled the silhouette of a face and brown sugar represented the spots on the faces of children, hence its name.

INGREDIENTS
  • 500g of white flour 🥫
  • 450g of sugar 🧂
  • 50g of freash yeast 🧈
  • A tablespoon of salt 🧂
  • 2 eggs 🥚
  • 150g of butter 🧈
  • 200cc of milk 🥛
  • 300g of brown sugar 🍿
INSTRUCTIONS

-First,place all dough ingridients (the white flor, the sugar, the freash yeast, the salt, the eggs, the butter and the milk), without the butter, in a stand mixer and with a dough hook mixture for approximately 10-15 minutes util the dough forms a ball and comes out the sides of the bowl. Add the butter and continue beating in a higher setting until the dough is bright, smooth and elastic. Now,remove the hook. Cover the bowl with a dishcloth and let it grow until it doubles in size (approximately 1 hour).

-After, once the dough has doubled, (in size), cut the dough into roughly 50g pieces and square form.Place them onto a well floured tray, and dust with a lots of brown sugar and cover the whole tray loosely with cling film.
-Finally, preheat the oven to 180Cº. Place to let the "dirty faces" have their final prove, until they are puffed up and risen.
Bake for 20 minutes until they are well risen and firm.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

¡FINISH!😋
