Fabada by Raúl.

Fabada

 Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 400 g of fabes (French beans)
  • 200 g of Asturian spicy chorizo.
  • 200 g of Asturian blood sausages or black pudding (dry, smoked).
  • 200 g of pork shoulder .
  • 100 g of bacon or streaky bacon.
  • 6  tea spoons  of saffron salt.


Preparation: 

  • Soak the beans overnight in cold water. Also place the pork shoulder and bacon in another bowl of warm water. 

  • The next day, wash the black pudding and the hot sausage. Then place the beans in a wide-bottomed clay pot with enough water to cover them with a couple of fingers. Boil uncovered in a high flame, removing any slag with a ladle of foam.

  • Then add the pork shoulder and bacon and simmer with the lid on for 2 hours, stirring the plate occasionally. 

  • Season and add the saffron, hot sausage, and black pudding, allowing everything to cook together for about a quarter of an hour. 

  • Finally, try the beans to make sure they are tender and let sit for half an hour before serving.


Serving:

  • Serve in the same clay pot. Offer it with 'compango' (blood sausage, spicy sausage, pork shoulder and bacon) cut into pieces on a separate plate.

Chocolate cookies

Ingredient:

  • 165 grms of flour.

  • 25 gr of cacoa.

  • 70gr of sugar.

  • 125 gr of butter

Elaboration:

  • First,cut the butter into cubes. 

  • Second,put the flour,the cocoa, the sugar and the butter in a large bowl. Mix all them until form a ball. 

  • Third,divide the dough into a small balls and roll the dough out until flat.

  •  Finally,place on a tray with baking paper and bake for about 13 minutes at 200°.

Backed chicken delights with Doritos by Daniel.

Baked Chicken Delights with Doritos


Ingredients


(For 4 people)


Chicken breast…250g

Doritos (choose the type you prefer)...1 bag

Eggs L…2 eggs

Wheat flour





Steps


Preheat the oven to 190ºC and prepare a tray covering it with paper greased with oil. Dry the chicken meat well with kitchen paper, remove any excess fat and cut it into pieces about 4-5 cm long.


Crush the Doritos using a rolling pin on the bag. Arrange them in a bowl. Beat the eggs in another bowl and cover a deep plate with the flour.


Pass each piece of chicken through the flour, shaking the excesses well, then cover the pieces with the egg and finally coat them in the Doritos, pressing well so that the Doritos stick. Place the strips on a different tray than the previous ones and repeat the process with the rest of the meat. Bake them for about 25 minutes, until they are golden brown, and you will get your own chicken delicacies breaded in doritos.

Pepperoni pizza by Ignacio.

PEPPERONI PIZZA.

            INGREDIENTS:

  • Tomate sauce

  • Cheese

  • Pepperoni

  • Dough

METHOD:

  • First, wash your hands.

  • Second, chop the cheese and pepperoni.

  • Third kneed the dough and extend it in a circle shape.

  • Then you have to add the tomato sauce, cheese and pepperoni.

  • Continue preheating the oven for eight minutes at 200 degrees.

  • Later you have to bake the pizza for 10 minutes at 210 degrees.

  • Then, the take de pizza out.

  • And finally it´s ready to eat! 












Macarroni with tomato and tuna by Clara.

MACARONI WITH TOMATO AND TUNA 

(Macarrones con tomate y atún) 


Ingredients:

200 grams of macaroni

2 cans of tuna

1 piece of onion

1 pot of fried tomato

1 pinch of salt

1 jet of olive oil

1 pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. We put a pot with plenty of water and salt, and we cook the macaroni

2. Prepare the sauce while the macaroni cooks. To do this, in a frying pan we put a jet of oil, chop the onion and fry it. When it is poached, add the fried tomato, mix it well and crush it.

3. Once the tomato and onion are crushed, add the two cans of tuna and mix.

4. When the macaroni is cooked, drain it well.

5. We put the macaroni in a source and add all the tomato and tuna sauce. We mix well and we already have the recipe ready to eat.

Chocolate braid by Clara.

   


   
“CHOCOLATE BRAID”                           


This recipe is very easy…


Ingredients:

- 1 puff pastry.

- 1 Chocolate bar.

- 1 egg


Instructions:

1- Roll out the dough.

2- Place the chocolate bar in the center of the dough.

3- Make cuts in the dough in a straight line, next to the chocolate.

4- Then line the tablet with each strip of dough in the form of a braid.

5- Once completely lined, paint it on the surface with an egg.

6- Put it in the oven for 15 minutes at 180º.

7- Once finished, let it cool 20 minutes ... And eat!

Biscuit with spelt flour by Julia.

- BISCUIT with SPELT FLOUR -



You're going to need…

  • A cup of natural yoghourt

  • 3 eggs

  • 3 cups of sugar

  • 1 sachet of baking powder

  • The zest of a lemon

                                             

Now to make the cake!


  1. First we separate the whites from the yolks. We set the whites on a snowy slope and set them aside.


  1. In addition, in a bowl, put de yolks, yoghourt, sugar and oil and mix well. Add lemon zest and mix. If you want, you can also add a tablespoon of anise. Mix the flour and yeast and add to the mixture, stirring well so that there are no lumps. Finally, add the snow-capped whites and mix everything together.



  1. Grease a mould with butter and pour into the dough of the cake. Bake at 180°, for 45 min.



  1. We take it out and let it cool a little. We take it out and let it cool completely, on top of a grate, so it doesn’t catch humidity.



And... DONE! Now we can start decorating the cake to make it much better.
